About these terms
These terms apply to the Novilun app and the website getnovilun.com (“Novilun”). Novilun is an independent project, developed and run by its author (“we”). By creating an account, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Novilun.
What Novilun does
Novilun helps you keep track of the subscriptions you enter yourself: it shows your payments on the orbit and in the calendar, adds up the totals and sends you reminders.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t make payments and has no access to your bank accounts.
- It doesn’t cancel subscriptions on your behalf. You cancel with each service.
- It doesn’t give financial advice.
- Exchange rates are indicative and are updated once a day.
Your account
- An account belongs to a single person.
- Keep your password safe and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
- The account email can’t be changed.
- You can delete your account anytime, in the app (the steps).
Cost
Novilun is free and shows no ads.
What you may not do
- Use Novilun for illegal activities.
- Try to access other people’s accounts or our systems.
- Copy, decompile or resell the app.
- Send automated requests that overload the service.
Your data
The subscriptions, notes and other data you enter stay yours. You only give us the right to store and process them so the service works, as explained in the Privacy policy. You can export and delete them.
Intellectual property
The Novilun name, logo, design and app code belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app. The names and trademarks of the services in the list belong to their owners and appear only so you can recognise them.
Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Novilun running without interruptions, but we can’t guarantee it. The app needs the internet. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut down the service, we’ll let you know in advance so you can export your data.
Limitation of liability
Reminders depend on your phone, notification settings and network, so they may be delayed or missing. Always check important dates with the subscription provider. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed payments, penalties or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Termination
You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notifying you, except in serious cases.
Governing law
Novilun is used in many countries. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given by the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms limits it. We first try to resolve any issue by email.
Changes to these terms
When we change something important, we let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
